Happy Thanksgiving!
I've been in Eureka Springs, Arkansas all week for my wife's granddad's funeral and for Thanksgiving with about everyone from her side of the family. We have been married 15 years, and I hadn't met more than half of them. It's been a great week.
I drove 20 miles and found a bank that had an Internet cafe that I could use to post this week's blog. I'm thankful for that and so much more!
Here is your forty-eighth week's chronological Bible reading schedule:

27 1 Thessalonians ; 2 Thessalonians
28 Acts 18:19-19:41

For practicing Lectio Divina, focus on a short passage, verse, or even a word to meditate on throughout the week. I am meditating on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
