I am a retired teacher and have always wanted to read through the Bible but for some reason haven't been successful. I want to grow more "spiritually" this year...instead of the rush ...rat race that faces all of us. I am a member of Gideons International and blessed by placing God's Word throughout the Year.

Dear Brian,

Thanks for the good encouragement. Can you tell me where to find the chapter breakdown for the entire year? I feel better with the complete map in front of me and want to very much to respond to your God prompt. Please.

Full of hope,

I will join you this year. My Sunday School class is doing the same thing. Please add me to the distribution list or schedule.

Thanks Tony

btw. Grest site.

Thanks for this personal challenge. Already our teen Sunday School class is taking up this challenge to read the Chronolgical Bible. I have presented the same to our entire church body. May God continue to bless you and your family in this year as you continue to serve His Kingdom. Thanks for all you are doing to strengthen the Body of Christ.

Yours in Christ,

Harry Swayne

This is a great idea, you've challenged me and already I have been amazed at the suddenness of the institutions of marriage and government in Genesis!

I have often wanted to read through the whole Bible in a year but have always failed miserably. When I saw that you are doing it I thought I am going to give this ago again. This year I am going to ask my church to join me.
Do you mind if each week I list the passages that you provide in our church bulletin so that everyone in my church can have the opportunity to do this? Ofcourse I will include that you have provided the reading plan. Also could I get the plan of each weeks readings a couple of weeks ahead so that if I am on holidays I can still make sure the verses for each week go in our bulletin (or can I get an outline of the plan for the whole year).

Thanks again

Harry Swayne

I read Job 6-9 today. After Job begins to complain, moan & cry out to his friend Bildad in ch.8:9, he says something that we all need reminders of as we try to figure out, reason thru & understand the doings of a Holy God; "...we are only of yesterday and know nothing..."
Now thats a great focus as we seek after an infinite God who knows no bounds, the measureless one!

I just found this info today. I plan to join you in this Bible Reading plan.
